Andrew Littlefield Obituary

Grand in both stature and heart, Andrew Hamilton Littlefield was a young man endeared by all who knew him. He passed away unexpectedly on December 29th, 2021 at 25 years of age. Andrew was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Gary and Debra Littlefield on March 24th, 1996. From an early age, Andrew was both ambitious and curious with an old, beautiful soul. He attended St. Thomas More Catholic School and church and is a graduate of Catholic High School. In 2019, Andrew graduated from the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University. As a freshman, he was inducted into the Finance Academy, a rare achievement usually reserved for upper classmen. Always striving for more, Andrew obtained his real estate license between his freshman and sophomore years of college and began his career at Mike Falgoust & Associates. Andrew's desire to learn, grow, and achieve catapulted him into a successful career and life. He specialized in industrial commercial real estate at Stream Realty Partners in Houston,Texas and was a consummate professional. Rich in accomplishments and friends, he endlessly sought to make those around him happy. Selflessly lending a hand or an ear, no matter the circumstances, whether in business or friendship, you could rely on Andrew always. He seamlessly grew from a quiet and observant child into a confident and wise-beyond-his-years man. In Andrew's free time, he loved rooting for his alma mater, particularly the LSU basketball team. He also enjoyed restoring his vintage truck and shooting sporting clays at the range with his father. Andrew shared a large portion of his final years with his beautiful girlfriend and the love of his life, Carly Marie Farrell. Andrew is survived by his father, Gary S. Littlefield, his mother Debra Roussel Littlefield, and his brother, Matthew S. Littlefield. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Linda Roussel Upton and husband J. Charles Upton, Pam Roussel Fry, Ray Littlefield and wife, Debbie; Martha Littlefield and husband Joel Goldman, and Damon Littlefield and his wife, Leslie, as well as cousins Eddie Littlefield, Chase Chabaud, Mason Littlefield Copeland, and Mark Fry. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Ed and Leona Littlefield and Bert and Margie Roussel. There will be a visitation Thursday, January 6th, from 5-7 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East. There will be a second visitation at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, January 7th, from 9:30-11 a.m., with a funeral Mass beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a private burial ceremony. Those unable to attend will be able to watch the Mass beginning at 10:50 a.m. on Friday via a YouTube livestream: https://www.youtube.com/c/StThomasMoreBatonRouge Pallbearers are his close friends: Patrick Fields, Shane Martin, Brandon Rinaudo, Andrew Maddox, Peter Mata, Cameron Ysideron, and Caleb Favaloro. A memorial contribution can be made to the Bertrand Roussel Family Scholarship Fund, LSU Foundation, E.J. Ourso College of Business, Baton Rouge, LA 70803. Like an old oak tree, Andrew had great, yet gentle strength, arms that stretched far and welcomed all, and deeply planted roots with give and grace. What an honor it's been to have witnessed his life.

My memories of Andrew are watching him grow up in Tiger Stadium. We sat right next to the Littlefield family. Andrew was a delightful child and we all loved him. But he really bonded with my husband, Billy. He was a very loving person from the very beginning. I am so proud to have known him. My heart is broken.
