I think of Andy every year around this time, as a former student at HGSSS he left an indelible impression on me. During these turbulent times he comes to mind even more often. His wit, wisdom, and insight are sorely missed. I am forever grateful for having been exposed to this fine gentleman.

Andy, every year that passes, I miss more and more your rational yet world-wise cynical take on life. We are spiraling out of control down here. Help! ;)

-Benjamin Disraeli's words express my feelings about Andy: "Man is never so manly as when he feels deeply, acts boldly, and expresses himself with frankness and with fervor." His memory is a blessing to many.

Four years already? I’m sure you would’ve had a lot to say about our nation now! We could’ve used a strong man like you.

It’s been 7 years since you first came into my life — and a little more than 3 since you took your light away. Always missing you, Bricklayer.

A long time. Unbelievable. Still irreplaceable.
