I think of Andy every year around this time, as a former student at HGSSS he left an indelible impression on me. During these turbulent times he comes to mind even more often. His wit, wisdom, and insight are sorely missed. I am forever grateful for having been exposed to this fine gentleman.

Andy, every year that passes, I miss more and more your rational yet world-wise cynical take on life. We are spiraling out of control down here. Help! ;)

-Benjamin Disraeli's words express my feelings about Andy: "Man is never so manly as when he feels deeply, acts boldly, and expresses himself with frankness and with fervor." His memory is a blessing to many.

I just remembered my very last conversation with you was at the end of the HGS annual social event that you periodically arranged. At that time my Engineer colleague and I were modeling what would have been (and may yet be) the world's largest and most innovative building, to be sited in downtown NYC and over the East River.
