Not sure what to say?

Dr. Pumphrey delivered my son in 1967. I was 20 at the time and my sister had died in childbirth three weeks before. Dr. Pumphrey was so kind and understanding and took away my fears. Later he did my surgery and I was a patient until he retired. When someone talks of their doctor, I always tell about Dr. Pumphrey. He was wonderful. Our prayers are with you.

Dr. Pumphrey delivered both of my children. He was a good doctor. He started as my Mom's doctor, then he was also my sister's and my sisters-in-law doctors. Dr. Pumphrey delivered quite a few Lopez babies.
We thank him for all his wonderful years of delivering our babies. Our sympathy to all of his family. May God give all of you the strength to get through this. Cherish all of your memories. You are in our hearts and in our prayers.

I did not know Dr. Pumphrey, but I worked with his son at Wyatt High School. Coach Pumphrey, my prayers are with you and your family.

Dr. Pumphrey touched many lives. I grew up next door, and his positive energy and sunny smile always perked me up. Whether healing patients or pursuing his myriad passions - travel, vintage car restoration, etc. - he inspired many and made the world a better place. He will live forever in those who remember a truly humble, wonderful soul.

My heart is with all of you at this very difficult time. Dr. Pumphrey was such a well respected and amazing man. It is very easy to see why his family is so wonderful. I hope it gives you comfort to know that he is God's loving care. Please let me know if there is anything you need or anything I can do for you. All my love, Deb

I want to convey my sympathy to the family of Dr. Pumphrey.
Dr. Pumphrey was my doctor from 1968 til he retired in the 1980's. I had total confidence in him and trusted him completely. I sought treatment from him not only for female problems, but colds, flu, bladder problems, etc. He was a real person, not just a doctor to me. Dr. Pumphrey's doctor, Dr. Robert Ruxer, is currently treating my husband for liver cancer. Both Dr. Pumphrey and Dr. Ruxer are a credit to the medical...
