Not sure what to say?

Bob and family,
I know the feeling of sadness that comes over us after loosing a family member that is so close and dear to us; but you know that he is in a much nicer place and one that we hope that we will also get to go when our time comes.

The void created in your lives can only be partially filled with the wonderful memories of Andrew and what he meant to all those he came in contact with. That "meaning" will last forever.

Dear Bob & family,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this time of sorrow.

Bob, Betty, and Matthew

We are hurting with you. Your family has always been special to us. When God's children are hurt and sorrowful, God is hurt even more. As parents, this is a shadow of God's love. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. We hurt with you and know there is sorrow.

Twice in our lives Pat and I almost lost one of our children. I know how hard even the thought of losing them was.
You and your family are in our prayers and we hope that time will help to ease the pain.

Dear Bob, Betty, Matthew and Rachael,
I am so very sorry to learn of Andy's passing at this late date. It's particularly sad, how we can get so trapped in our own life commitments and struggles, that we often miss the heroes that live so close by and are putting up valiant, courageous fights in the company of their family and closest friends.
Andy was a shy, handsome, freckled boy with rich dark hair when I knew him as a middle schooler. He never had an unkind word for anyone...

Rachael, We're sorry to hear about the loss of Andy. Unfortunately we never had the opportunity to meet Andy but the family said he was a great guy! And the family is never wrong, right? Carson and I hope to see you at the family reunion this summer. We owe you a big hug!!

Rachael, Words cannot express how much you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I wanted to tell you that my school (Flat Rock Middle, Asheville, NC) was beginning a penny drive for the Cancer Society when I heard of Andrews passing. I shared what I knew of his sickness with my students and they were touched. They raised over $1600 in just 2 weeks for the Society. There is nothing I can say to help heal the pain but please know that I am always here for a shoulder to cry on or an ear to...

To Andy's friends and family, my thoughts are with you. I graduated with Andy from Westboro High School. I remember his great sense of humor and laugh. He will be missed.
