Drew was kindhearted and loyal--he went out of his way to provide encouragement and support throughout our friendship. I must have met him at the Van Dyke skatepark in Fairfax, VA around 2004, likely when he was still in school at GMU. He tried to help me get jobs when I was un- or underemployed and he was there for me when I was struggling with relationships and he didn’t judge my bad decisions and would listen to me gripe.
