Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Danny's passing. He and I were team mates on the 1960 East High Track Team. He was not only a fine trackster, but a great person. We will all miss him.

I was so sorry to hear about his death- I went to East later than he did but always heard about him and the stuff he did- My twin Lawrence went there and kept up with sports a lot of the time and I would hear from one of the teachers a lot about him. Sorry don't remember which- she was crazy about his abilities though. So naturally made him a legend there.I lost my husband to cancer also and know how that is. May God give you all the comfort you need and He is there with you and remember now...

Danny was a great friend at East High and I send God's blessings to his family. May you feel His everlasting arms around you.

We would like to express our sympathy during this difficult time.

To Danny Smith's family - I was so sorry to hear about Danny. Although I didn't graduate until 1966 from East High School, my sister Nancy Cash graduated in 1963 and I am sure she thought highly of Danny. We lost her in 2004. So on her behalf I wanted to send my sympathy to the family. Danny is singing in God's choir now and has no more pain and suffering.

Jim and I would like to send our sympathy to Danny's Family. We are friends with his son and had the opportunity to meet him this past year. He was a very sincere man and a pleasure to chat with. God Bless.

Debbie, DeeDee, & Derek,
I believe it was God's intervention to have Derek stop by the resort today. I was so surprised to see him, and even more surprised to hear of Danny's passing. He will always be a bright spot in my memories of Sevier Heights, and I will never forget the way he so obviously expressed his love for each of you and for His Savior. It's a comfort to know he's now home. God bless each of you. You're in my heart.

As a member of the Sevier Heights Baptist Church Choir, it was always wonderful having Danny narrate with the choir to present God's word. His talent was used for the Lord. He was a faithful leader in the Living Christmas Tree and was a supporter for the Choir this last December. My prayers are with his family; however, he is suffering no more. He is home.

Debbie, DeeDee, and Derek,

Losing Danny is a great loss. He was always quick with a smile. Your family will always be a part of my good childhood memories. My love, thoughts and sympathy are with you all.
