My thoughts and prayers were with my mom and my cousins this past week. I wish I could've been there to say goodbye to Andy but I was thinking about all of you. I will continue to pray for you during this time.
Love you!

Daddy, I don't think I could ever put into words how much I love and miss you. Hopefully Ill continue making you proud of me. Please take care of mommy and Phillip and Grandma. Don't worry about me, I have the love of a man so great that you never have to worry about me. Though you didn't meet Mikey in person, you got to know him over many phone conversations and He is so thankful he got to do the same....You were taken from us too soon....I only hope I can continue your memory in the most beautiful way. I love you daddy.

I was so saddened to hear of Andy's passing. When a teacher loses a student it's like losing a child - a very personal void. Please accept my sympathy Stephanie. I have wonderful memories of your family and pray for you in your grief.

Stephanie---no works can express what our hearts are sending your way to you, Ray, Christina, Katie, Amber, Joe and the rest of the Texas family, and extended Wagner family. I have watched the two of you for years. Yes, the miles have kept you apart physically, but the love flowed both directions. Andy so loved Cindy and the girls. Know that we are thinking about you during this time and times to come. All our love.

Andy Thome was my classmate at St. Joseph's Elementary School in Huntsville, Alabama. Andy's personality always stood out, and he provided our class many humorous memories. We graduated 8th grade together in 1973. Last year, in 2013, we had a 40th year reunion of our class. Unfortunately, Andy was not able to join us in person, but we knew he was there in spirit. Today, Andy is reunited with his mother, wife and son, and with our Lord, Jesus Christ. My wife, Peggy, and I send our prayers and condolences to his children, grandchildren and other members of his family.

This is my brother, my only sibling. I don't know what to say or ask for, except prayers for his soul, that he finally be resting in peace with no worries or anxieties. He truly loved his wife, his children, his parents, and me. I know that in my heart. I am deeply saddened by his passing and just want peace for his Texas family. Maybe we weren't extremely close growing up, but had become close in these past years as I traveled out here to be with him during his grief in loosing his wife and son.
The miles between Texas and Alabama have kept us apart since 1978, except for short visits. He remains in my heart always, and will live on in his daughters and grandchildren.
