To the Family of a Great Pioneer:
I remember vidvidly the many opportunities Mr. Wade took in this
city to assure that his family and others in this city would have more advantages than people of color had at that time. I remember the skating rank in downtown Louisville in which Mr. Wade was instrumental in allowing minorities an opportunity to gain entrance. Brings sorrow and deep pain;
But if our loved ones know the Lord,
Our loss becomes their gain.
