Just got a call from my daughter , telling me that she saw Ms.Rose at the grocery . Rose told her of Angie's passing and also of Eddie's passing . I met Eddie a few times and was always a very nice gentleman . What a loss to a wonderful family ! I first met Rose & Angie when I was a hairdresser at Lamonte's Coiffures, on St. Charles Ave. , down the street from Delmonico's . Angie was a client of mine, once and a while I would do Rose's hair , and actually did their Mom 's hair, Mrs . Lafranca. What a great pleasure to be on the company of these women. I remember Jackie and Diane , even met Mr. Brown . Angie showed me his office with all of his Tulane stuff. I loved running into them in restaurants, from Tujacque's to Mr. Ed's (all the restaurants that would cook Rose's special food). They were always laughing together ! I tried to plan a get together once, and Angie said they don't go out in evening , only lunch , and reminded me of how old they were ! God how I miss her, even though I didn't see her often, I knew she was always here when I called ! Last time I told her maybe I could get my daughter Gina, and she would invite Beth, her grandaughter to do lunch with her and Rose. I'll miss my friend forever . God bless and keep you and I'll keep those memories . Love Beverly & George Scala
