Angelo Artale Obituary

Angelo Artale passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on January 6th. He was an Altar boy from New Jersey. After serving in WWII as a radio operator in Europe, he returned home to marry his beloved Katherine. He built his own house, raised two children, and ate pasta five nights a week. Angelo worked for Becton Dickinson, manufacturing hypodermic needles, and traveled to India to set up a factory there. He was an 8 handicap golfer, 200 bowler, and a champion bocce player. He never drank, seldom swore, and always smiled. Angelo had a gentle soul, and always put others before himself. He is survived by his son John, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Goodbody Memorial, Thursday 01/25 from 5-9 p.m., and a funeral will be at St. Didacus Church, Friday 01/26 from 10-11 a.m..
