Vincent and Maryann, So sorry for your great loss. Ann was a good person and she will be missed. I remember not too long ago going to pick up my Avon and watching a bit of the soaps with her before I had to rush back to work from my lunch hour. I like to think that she is now in a better place, feeling no pain, looking down on us and probably sharing laughs of the old days with my Grandma Margie. Losing someone so important to us is one of the hardest things we, as humans, go through. But...

It was a pleasure to know Ann. She was warm hearted and a delight to be with. Whenever I had the pleasure of her company, it was always fun.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

May God bless and keep you strong, Vincent. I remember when we all lived on West Coit, next to Frances Hearn. I lived up the street a few houses down. I remember Ann sitting on the porch while you roasted a pig and watching us kids playing outside. You will be sadly missed.
