Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Ann calling her beloved husband, Jack, on the Armstrong High School pressroom phone, greeting him with, "Hello, darling, love of my life..." As a teen publication editor years ago at The Tennessean in Nashville, I tried to pass along Ann's wisdom to the next generation, but most importantly her honor, ethics, and journalistic integrity... If I close my eyes, I can almost smell her wassail brewing on her stove during at her home. My love and sincere condolences to her...

Our deepest condolences. We knew Ann through my mother-in-law Ann Rest, and got to see her & Jack more when they lived in Woodbury. Our children adored them. Ann was a force of nature and an absolute joy to be around.

One of the few teachers that I remember. Wonderful person. She will be missed.

So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person. I had her for journalism. Loved her energy and her beautiful spirit. She was one of my best teachers!

I have great fond memories of this beautiful lady. I used to clean her home many many moons ago she had a great personality love life to the fullest and I will always remember her generosity. My deepest sympathy to the Goodwin family.

Love and prayers in the loss of your mother.

Most impacted teacher ever! Journalism. My sympathies and condolences to all. She was wonderfully inspiring to me.

She was the definition of legacy. A wonderful human being.

Ann was certainly one of the most influential teachers in my life and she is a big part of the reason I am a writer and photographer today.
