I have fond memories of Ann calling her beloved husband, Jack, on the Armstrong High School pressroom phone, greeting him with, "Hello, darling, love of my life..." As a teen publication editor years ago at The Tennessean in Nashville, I tried to pass along Ann's wisdom to the next generation, but most importantly her honor, ethics, and journalistic integrity... If I close my eyes, I can almost smell her wassail brewing on her stove during at her home. My love and sincere condolences to her many friends and family. Join me in toasting her for a life well lived.

Our deepest condolences. We knew Ann through my mother-in-law Ann Rest, and got to see her & Jack more when they lived in Woodbury. Our children adored them. Ann was a force of nature and an absolute joy to be around.
