Not sure what to say?

I miss your smile. You were an angel on earth. I am raising funds for St. Josephine Bakhita statue at St. Thomas More cathedral. Mr. Hicks donated, but i said, Mrs. Hicks would have given me more. Hahahaa! Rest in peace, you kind-hearted angel. I put your prayer card on the remembrance table at St. Anthony last Sunday.

Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Hicks. I will never forget your beautiful smile. you recognized me anytime you received the Eucharist and returning to your pew, you always smiled at me and held my hand for a while. You helped get financial assistance for my friends from ACCA. Thank you for caring. I will remember you, in my sleep and in my sleepless sleep. May perpetual light shine on you, rest in peace.

AnnMarie was a beloved teacher and colleague, and will be dearly missed by those whose lives she touched. I had the privilege of being Norm´s Spanish instructor at the World Bank, where I worked for eight years, and Anne Marie´s colleague at Bishop O´Connell later on in my career. Though we list touch, they both hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Ann Marie, Norm and the entire Hicks family.

Mrs. Hicks was an amazing biology teacher. I will never forget her AP Bio class on 9/11. She took such good care of us, keeping us informed and loving and supporting us on a day that was terrifying and emotional for all of us. Every other day her class was amazing, probably my favorite in high school. To this day even though I didn't pursue a career in science, I love it and feel being science literate helps me every day.

Dear Norm and Family. I send my deepest condolences. Ann Marie was so special to Monica and me. Our prayers will continue for the repose of the soul of Ann Marie and the Hicks family. So many fond memories. The Daniel Stabile Family.

Thank you for those beautiful photos of Ann Marie and your beautiful family, Sander.. She was an outstanding teacher (she taught all of my kids) , and a wonderful colleague at Bishop O'Connell.. She will be dearly missed. Annette Borges

I´ve only known Ann Marie and Norman since they moved into Goodwin House. Despite her illness, Ann Marie´s giving spirit glowed from within her. Her smile brought joy to many. That spirit will live on through all of you and through the many people whose lives were influenced by her. My deep sympathy.

Dear Norman and family, We are so sorry to learn of Ann Marie´s illness and passing. We have such wonderful memories of Ann Marie from many summers with the swim teams as well as many vibrant conversations related to her life outside of swimming. Ann Marie truly lived her faith, and may her memory be a blessing certainly to her wonderful family and to the many whom she encountered in her years of teaching and of service to those in need. In deepest sympathy...
