Not sure what to say?

I will always be grateful to Anna Belle Nimmo for getting me involved in the Freeport Parks Foundation. She was a wonderful role model in having a vision for a civic project, and following it through with a passion and humor! She was instrumental in shaping the Commissioner's Garden at Krape Park, a beautiful legacy for generations to come. Take a look: http://freeportparkdistrict.org/foundation/projects/.
I will also miss her stories of far-away trips and how she started acting in the...

We all should count ourselves very fortunate for Anna Belle touched our lives in so many ways. I counted her as one of my best friends for the past 31 years. The nature of our lively conversations, often puncturated with laughter, and the letters we exchanged covered a wide range of topics. Even though I was just a nephew by marriage, I treasured my status a true friend. My prayers go out to all of the Koenigs and her son Taun.

Dear Taun,
Will always be so grateful to have your Mom as my Aunt. She was a very special person to me and will always be in my heart and thoughts.

I will never forget all the summers we spent together in Colorado. We had lots of fun with both of your parents. My prayers and thoughts are with you..
Love and Hugs,
Penny

I became acquainted with Anna Bell Koenig Nimmo when I lived in Freeport in the 1970s. She represented a direct link to Freeport's history and its association with the philanthropy of her family (Koenig / Rawleigh) which haelped to shape Freeport in the first half of the 20th century. She was a delightful story teller and all round great person.

Anna Belle was a gentle woman whose presence graced everyone who knew her. Taun, you have our most sincere condolences in your loss. She was a treasure.
