My condolences to all of Ms. Rita's family and children for the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of her when my family lived in Gentilly many years ago. I remember her always as friendly, warm, sweet and smiling. May you all find peace in knowing she is now resting in the heavenly arms of our Lord and that one day you all will be reunited.
With much love,
Sarah Coco Cannata, Frank Cannata & family And Mr. Salvatore Coco

What a beautiful lady! I'll never forget how she embraced all of us as kids and was the fun mom! She took us to Mardi Gras smiling and singing; and would just love life. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that you find comfort in all the great memories. She sure did teach us HOW to live!

I will miss my dear friend Anna more than words can say. We had many good times together over the past 30 years...including volunteer work while at Freeport-McMoRan, enjoying the LPO and New Orleans Opera events, a concert in Baton Rouge with Andre Rieu, and we even took a road trip to Memphis for Elvis Week in 2012. We both enjoyed dancing, and Anna was a great dancer. I remember her late husband Bob saying "You know when you go with Gail, you'll have a great adventure." And that we did. We went to the 610 Stompers Auditions in 2017, a cruise in 2012, numerous lunches and dinners over the years. She was a kind and caring lady who dearly loved her family and friends, and God. She fought the good fight to the end, valiantly and bravely. RIP, my friend.
