Anne E. Quinn

Age 74, formerly of Westwood, MA died on October 25, 2007 as a result of complications from a protracted battle with cancer. Anne was the beloved wife of 50 years of David L. Quinn and the loving mother of David, Jr., his wife Sharon; Victoria Benson, her husband Paul; Martha Lynch, her husband William; and Peter Quinn. She also leaves four grandsons; Andrew, Brendan, and Connor Quinn and Riley Benson, as well as her brother, David Lahive. Anne was the sister of the late John A. Lahive, Mary White and Joanne Burdulis. Born and raised in Milton, MA, she was a graduate of Regis College and the Graduate School of Boston College. Anne taught in the Burlington and Westwood school systems and resided in Westwood for 34 years. She was an active member of the 125 Club. Visiting hours will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, SO. DENNIS, MA. A funeral will form at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of the Cape Church, Stoney Brook Rd in Brewster, MA at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brewster. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Massachusetts Citizens for Life, 529 Main Street, Boston, MA 02129.
