Annette M. Kowalczyk

1939 - 2023

Annette M. (Bonaiuto) Kowalczyk, 83, of New Britain, CT, loving wife of the late Henry F. Kowalczyk entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Annette was born December 13, 1939, in New Britain, CT, daughter of Thomas & Annette (Hathaway) Bonaiuto.

Annette spent her working life at Connecticut Spring and Corbin & Russwin and later retired. During retirement, Annette would relish in spending time with her family. Annette was known as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Philip of New Britain, and Kenneth and his wife Lory, of Avon, and the pride and joy of her life, her granddaughter, Kaylee. Kaylee was Annette's greatest treasure and would always share photos and stories of Kaylee with friends and family. Her sisters, Maryann Nelson of Killingworth and Connie Shipp of St. Paul, Indiana, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie Borowy, and her brother Thomas Bonaiuto Jr.

Annette enjoyed spending time on the Connecticut shoreline with her family and friends reminiscing over a good meal. She could put a smile on anyone's face with her class and charm.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 4:00pm- 7:00pm at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Church Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 9:30am followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A brief gathering prior to church at the funeral home will be from 8:30am - 9:00am.
