I was very sorry to hear about Ms. McCain's passing. I will always remember her as a compassionate, caring individual. She taught me in high school and also served as my speech coach. We developed an unspoken bond and respect for each other. As an adult it was always good to see her and remember her encouraging words. The community will be at a loss without her.
