Not sure what to say?

Dear Karen, Maria, Anthony, Nick and all my Coletta cousins, On Tony's birthday August 13, I share this passage from Anne Lamott's book entitled : Help, Thanks, Wow (The Three Essential Prayers.) "There are no words for the broken hearts of people losing people, so I ask God to respond to them with graciousness and encouragement enough for the day." May God's light and peace fill your hearts and grant you comfort. Love, Marguerite and Bernie

Tony was one of the absolute gems in medicine and will be missed dearly. I feel absolutely priviledged to not only have known him, but having had the pleasure of working with him at the bedside as a critical care nurse and also in the outside world of Care Management at Tandigm Health. Prayers to his family, colleagues, friends and patients. May he RIP

Such a great surgeon and took such good care of my mother through her surgery and hospitalizations. She spoke so highly of Dr. Coletta and he was the only surgeon she ever truly trusted and valued. He was wonderful to her. What a tremendous loss for his family and the community. My deepest sympathy to those whose lives he touched.

Reese, the staff at the Radnor Dog Club and Radnor Veterinary Hospital all extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Coletta family. We will continue to give Gus lots of hugs. We are very sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of a great person, surgeon and teacher from a former surgical trainee. Emanuele Lo Menzo, MD

So very sorry and sad to learn about Dr "Tony" Colettta´s passing! He was so beloved by so many at Bryn Mawr Hospital! His dedication as a surgeon was commendable and his sense of humor always brought a laugh! He will be joining my dad, Kjell Christiansen in heaven! I am sure they will be sharing many stories of working in the O.O. Together! RIP, TONY!

So sad to hear Tony has left this world. What a great person. I worked with Tony when he was a surgical resident/fellow at Jefferson in 1986. He and John Rodomski were at the forefront of transplant surgery. What a 1-2 combination. Tony was a brilliantly skilled, tireless surgeon with a great sense of humor. He was one of the few surgeons who had command of internal medicine and could manage a patient from A to Z. Additionally, he was a pleasure to work with. Nurses, house staff, students...

Deepest condolences to the Coletta family. Your work and reputation was well known. RIP my racing brother. Classmate from Waldron class of 1967 Curtis Cockenberg Jr.
