Not sure what to say?

It´s Memorial Day and I was driving around with my son Jayden Anthony Massey and decided to google and dive in to see if I could show him how he got his name. My name is Jason and in Korea I made good friends with Anthony and Matthew Chapman. Matt and Anthony were super close but I loved hanging with them. I never got to meet his dad but when Matt and I would be out and about, Matt would occasionally call his dad to shoot the breeze. I remember the call when his dad told us he was gone....

I loved you the moment we locked eyes. When I heard that you left us I cried until there were no more tears left in me. You would be 42 this year. Still holding on to your memory

He was a great guy. Sorry to hear he past so young. My condolences to his family, and close friends.

I miss you Brother!

I love this dude! I tried to convince him to join the Navy with me, but we all know Anthony! To damn hardheaded for his own good but I guess we all were. I’ve cried on many occasions over the loss of Anthony and don’t see an end of that I will be retiring soon from the military and often wonder why we’re not doing it together. I feel guilty and will never forget the sacrifice that Anthony made for all of us. I miss you my dude, and will NEVER FORGET YOU!!!

I was very proud to walk for Anthony today.

Hello,

We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Anthony M. Mazzarella US Army Private.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know...

I just saw Anthony's photo displayed for the Luminaria bag. I will be lighting a candle for Anthony this September 24th 2017.

I am sorry. You were a great friend.
