Tony, 75, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2018 in Fowler, Ca. He was born in Merced, Ca and attended Le Grand High School. He was employed at Margarita's Tortilla Shop in Planada, Ca for 25 plus years. Tony loved fishing, taking rides to the hills and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Eleanor Moreno, son Larry Moreno, granddaughter Katie Moreno, brothers Bernard, Jesse Jr, Gabriel, Paul and Manuel Moreno. He is survived by his wife Frances Garcia, Daughter Melissa Moreno (Paul), granddaughters Valerie Garcia (Alejandro), and Regina Moreno, brothers and sisters John Moreno (Mary), Concie Moreno (Priscilla), Alberto Moreno (Alta), Mary Moreno, Lupe Arce (Daniel), Dolores Valdez, Daniel Moreno (Anita), and Theresa Garcia (George). He is also survived by his step son Andrew Garcia (Patricia), David Garcia and granddaughters Vanessa, Felicia, Viviana and Lilianah Garcia. Viewing will be Thursday, July 19 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St. Merced. Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9317 Amistad Ave, Planada, Ca. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 20th at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Planada with interment following at Calvary Cemetery located at 260 West Childs Ave., Merced, Ca 95341.
