Dear Dr. John, I am so very sorry for your loss, a loss to so many. Tony was indeed a great friend and generous soul. I´m sorry to say I´ve just come upon this notice. I hope and pray you´re well. Dale King

You looked around and there was John! The two of you in Heaven, no more pain...Until that time, Tony, when we meet again.

Sorry to inform that the celebration of Tony's life at SHOES PUB which was scheduled for Sunday the 13th has been cancelled. No specific plans have been made to reschedule.

He remains in our prayers.

I walked in last night to Shoes to learn of Tony's passing. How terribly sad. With whom am I to sit and chat about all things? I will miss the warm hugs and the, "How are you honey?"
I met Tony at St. Teresa of Avila Parish. Tony cut my hair and I can remember him running his hands through my wife's black hair saying, "You Asians have the best hair," while simply playing with it as if it was something special. Tony made us all feel very special.
I enjoyed coming home after a week...

You will be greatly missed. Your humor and attitude will be missed. You always put a smile on someone's face and had something to say to make them laugh. You told the truth about people no matter what. You will be missed.

tony, as cousins we did not see much of each other however, the times together were very enjoyable. may you rest in peace. dr. john my sympathy goes out to you. god bless

I am saddened by to hear about the loss of your life partner. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tony was George's cousin and we will always remember him fondly. Our children loved his playfulness, his love of life.
He was a gentle caring man, full of love and joy for everyone in his life.

Some of our best memories of Tony are when our kids were little and we'd spend time with him and John going to the zoo in Lincoln Park, eating pizza, getting haircuts and listening to stories of his adventures in CA trimming the hair of rock stars.
