Not sure what to say?

My family is so saddened by Tony's passing.  He was the only one who could properly diagnose our son Derek's cochlear nerve damage.  From that diagnosis on, Tony took a special interest in Derek's health, as well as Derek's successes after getting his hearing aids.Tony was a true gentleman, and a caring human being.  We will moarn his passing.Mary, God Bless you and your family. The McCallums

Please accept my belated condolences for the loss of one of the dearest men I have every had the pleasure to meet. I was a patient of Dr. Porto, as was my son. He always amazed us with his sincere and caring "chair side manner". Never missing an opportunity to catch up on our life activities and remembering details I didn't even recall sharing with him. The appointment was almost incidental compared to the compassion he shared with us. We are deeply saddened to learn of your lose. I am sure...

Dear Mary and the Porto family,
Just before leaving the PING factory yesterday I ran into John Ward, always an enjoyable experience, except yesterday, as he told me the terribly sad news about Tony. Besides growing up at the same golf course in Des Moines, one of my most enjoyable memories with Tony was a round of golf we shared with our sons in Phoenix. He was a gifted' individual. I can only hope that the Lord will grant you and the family the ability to cope with the loss of Tony.

the Doc was the most incredible man that ever lived. You can read this guest book for yourself and see the variety of people that he touched. The Big T was our rock and made us strong. I will never forget you Dad.

I recently returned to this part of the country and learned of Dr. Porto's death. Please accept my prayers and sincere condolences on your loss...

I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Portos' passing. He was more than a Dr. he was a friend. I'll miss him and his staff.

Dr. Porto always made you feel welcome in his office. If you grabbed a piece of candy, he always asked if you would take another. He had a great and caring staff that made you feel welcome as well.

I was a new patient of Dr. Porto, but as you know, one visit was all it took for me to know his kindness.

I have had a very difficult year trying to recover after an emergency c-section brought my son into the world on Christmas Eve of last year. (including 2 blood transfusions, pancreatitis, gal bladder removed, shingles, severe anemia, plantar fasciitis and every other infection that comes along due to my depleated immune system -- not to mention I have a brand new baby at...

Knowing the Porto spirit embodied in his daughter, I can only imagine the imprint your dad has left on the people lucky enough to meet him and be touched by his kindness. Stacy, my heart is with you and your family.
