Just the very thought of someone you have known and loved leaves a crack not only in the hearts of those left behind but a cloud in their lives. Maurice (as I knew him) was always a kind and considerate person. I met him many years ago, after my sister Shelia married Maurice's cousin, Dennis. I often wonder did Maurice ever meet a stranger? I have found memories of my cousin Maurice. He was always very welcoming to me and my brother and sister whenever we came to visit Big and our family in Jackson. He will be missed and I know he is heaven throwing a BBQ!
