Just the very thought of someone you have known and loved leaves a crack not only in the hearts of those left behind but a cloud in their lives. Maurice (as I knew him) was always a kind and considerate person. I met him many years ago, after my sister Shelia married Maurice's cousin, Dennis. I often wonder did Maurice ever meet a stranger? I say that because Maurice seem to have treated everyone like a close family member. May those of us left behind to cherish his memory always find time to be kind. As long as you are able to remember something about Maurice that leaves a smile on your face, Maurice's life will always be present. May his soul forever be anchored in the Lord.

I have found memories of my cousin Maurice. He was always very welcoming to me and my brother and sister whenever we came to visit Big and our family in Jackson. He will be missed and I know he is heaven throwing a BBQ!
