Not sure what to say?

Dear Tony,

It was many years ago when I briefly met you. I was a senior at Miami Jackson and was dating one of your friends at Hialeah High. I was certainly impressed with your "fun" personality and of course good looks. Over the years, however, I really got to know you through one of my very closest friends, your sister "Joanne". When Joanne spoke of you and all your adventures, her eyes sparkled with love and pride. She loved you very much and it was great to hear her...

To All Who Loved, Honored, and Cherished Tony Saladino:
Even though we never met, I felt like I knew him thru Joanne, his tremednous sister and thru his Son, Jerome, with memories and keepsakes of the past. May you finally rest in peace, in a better place.

DAVE AND I SEND OUR CONDOLENCES TO TONY'S FAMILY. WE WILL KEEP YOU IN OUR PRAYERS.

so sorry to learn of tony's death. we went to hialeah high together and shared the same horrid geometry teacher! tony was the only person who got me through it with his great humor and good nature.

I did not know Tony, personally, but I do know his wonderful sister Joanne! I have only heard and read the most heartwarming qualities about this amazing man...he must take after his sister!! :-) My thoughts and prayers are with "Angel Tony" and his family...

I think I can speak for all of Tony's old teammates at U. of M. when I say that we will never forget all of the great times we had both on and off of the field. We were truly brothers and will miss him greatly.

I went to high school with Tony. I took physics with him as well. He did everything well. He could dance like a dream, he could do his physics homework as quickly as our supposed class brain, and he seemed to be always laughing. As a high school girl, I was one of the legions who also thought he was great looking. Everybody liked him. I think because he had this un-egoistic integrity that was always a low key constant buzz that seemed to support him. So he got to walk in late to physics class...

Dear "Salad"

We shared a lot of good experiences together, football at the U.of Miami, business careers at IBM & ITEL. You were a very important part of my life, and I will miss you. Get things organized up there for those fortunate enough to join you later.
