Dear Tony,

It was many years ago when I briefly met you. I was a senior at Miami Jackson and was dating one of your friends at Hialeah High. I was certainly impressed with your "fun" personality and of course good looks. Over the years, however, I really got to know you through one of my very closest friends, your sister "Joanne". When Joanne spoke of you and all your adventures, her eyes sparkled with love and pride. She loved you very much and it was great to hear her stories. You will be truly missed by all of those who loved you and to whom you brought so much happiness and joy.

Rest in peace.

I think I can speak for all of Tony's old teammates at U. of M. when I say that we will never forget all of the great times we had both on and off of the field. We were truly brothers and will miss him greatly.

I went to high school with Tony. I took physics with him as well. He did everything well. He could dance like a dream, he could do his physics homework as quickly as our supposed class brain, and he seemed to be always laughing. As a high school girl, I was one of the legions who also thought he was great looking. Everybody liked him. I think because he had this un-egoistic integrity that was always a low key constant buzz that seemed to support him. So he got to walk in late to physics class and instead of getting into trouble, we were all happier that he made it, me, the teacher, and everyone else in our physics class. He really was a person for all the world. I think his parents must have been special people to have raised such a son. Sincerely, Kenna Geraldine Noone

Dear "Salad"

We shared a lot of good experiences together, football at the U.of Miami, business careers at IBM & ITEL. You were a very important part of my life, and I will miss you. Get things organized up there for those fortunate enough to join you later.

Family and Loved Ones,

It has been so many years since I saw Tony. We played together at Hialeah High and then were at UM at the same time. Obviously the years have slipped by without much contact. But to know Tony was to love him. He was such a good heart. Always positive and full of life. I am saddened that this snake has bit him as it has so many others at the prime of life. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. The world is a better place because of Tony Saladino and we will miss him.
