Tony was a good friend and mentor of mine, a phenomenal doctor, and an incredible person. While I only knew him for a short while, I can say that he was one of the most impressive and inspiring people I have ever met. I often reflect on the early days at TTUHSC. We were a small dept and so very close. It was so good to see Dr. Talbert again before his passing. He hadn´t changed a bit. He still had his exuberant personality. He will be greatly missed and remembered.

Very sorry to hear about Major Talbert. I am a neighbor from across the alley. We shared experiences in Army ROTC and service in South Vietnam. I will tell a story on Dr. Talbert. The next morning after 911, Major Talbert was observed driving down the alley pass my driveway in his Mustang convertible. For four years we sat in the same home room either next to each other or adjacent .
