Antoinette Castagliola Obituary
AGE: 87 • Whiting
Antoinette M. Castagliola passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at home. She was 87. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Bayville before moving to Whiting 5 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1985, she was a server at Monteleone's Pastry Shop in Brooklyn.
She is predeceased by 3 brothers, Peter, Arthur and Anthony Tagliava. Surviving are her husband, Anthony; a son, Joseph of Atlantic Highlands; a brother, Jack Tagliava of Whiting; 3 sisters, Frances Matranga and Jean Avenoso both of Whiting and Madeline Peluso of Brooklyn.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 -4 & 7-9 PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting. For more information or to send an online condolence, please visit: www.andersoncampbellwhiting.com. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Brigadier William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. I did not have the chance to meet you in person, but considering you were the mother of my dear friend Joe, you certainly had to be a wonderful human being. May the angels guide you to Heaven's doors, and may you rest in eternal peace. Amen.
