Not sure what to say?

To say Anton was special and unique doesn’t begin to capture the essence of Tony. He was my mentor , 3000 miles away, when I restored my SIATA 208S and my OSCA special, supplying me not only with parts but imparting the knowledge and wisdom he acquired over many years. They’re not making any more SIATAs and they’re not making any more Fiat 8 Vs ; and unfortunately they’re not making any more Tony Krivanek’s.

Tony was all things vintage racing. I first got to know this remarkable fellow through his devoted wife Marilyn Smart. We hit it off in great fashion as through a span of twenty or so years of vintage racing. But we cannot forget the wonderful Holiday parties at Tony's shop both in the Valley and in Carpentaria compound. Ada and I share our deepest sympathies to Marilyn and Tony's family.

Marilyn, So sorry to hear of your loss. I wish I had been able to meet him. Love and healing to you.

First of all, my condolences to Marilyn, his family and the thousands of friends. I knew him and he was a friend of mine. As was mentioned in his obituary, he was a walking encyclopedia of all things automotive. I didn’t have any of the old Italian cars that he loved, but I had several that he knew all of the details and specifications. He will be missed by so many “car nuts” here in California and the rest of the country. RIP Anton
