Anton James Krivanek

December 13, 1939 - December 12, 2020 Anton James Krivanek died peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, December 12, 2020 - one day shy of his 82nd birthday. His wife of 28 years, Marilyn Smart Krivanek, was by his side.Anton was born and raised in Los Angeles. He became a father at the tender age of 21, and would eventually welcome three daughters with his first wife, Grace. He later opened his own business, Vintage Racing Services. VRS was the place to be for all things vintage Italian cars. VRS focused mainly on rare Fiats and Siatas. Tony was working on Italian race cars in his mind in his final days. Tony is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughters Kimberly Page (Rob), Nina Moench (Lou) and Wendy Connor (Rich), grandchildren Kevin Connor, Sam Page, Thomas Connor, Zoe Moench, Wesley Page and Louis Moench. Stepchildren Geoff Smart, Rodney Smart (Pam), Alison Bihari (Michael) and Steve Smart. Step grandchildren Jake and Christina Bihari and younger brother Nick Krivanek.Tony loved to drive, work in his shop, go out to lunch, talk about cars and visit with friends. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of old Italian cars and was a regional expert on the 8-V Fiat and Siata cars of the early '50s. He was a person of rare integrity. He influenced a lot of people and made a worthwhile contribution to the community to which he belonged.
