Archie Knapp

To the family of Archie Knapp,
I will always remember Archie and his gentle, kind, paternal manner. He was my father's supervisor for many years...in Cut Bank and Havre. Last year I got to talk to my father at length about our life traveling with the "phone company" in the 50's (my memories of that time are sketchy), and he said Archie was a good friend, and a good boss when we returned to Butte. I'm sure both Archie and my Dad are looking after us all now, as they did for all those...

To Archie's family and friends,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Archie.
I was the first woman to ever work in his department at US West. He was always kind and helpful. I will never forget that and will remember him with great admiration.

To the Family,
On behalf of the Montana District of Kiwanis, please accept our sympathy. We have fond memories of all the work that he did for the childen of Butte. His work at Sheeps Head Camp Ground is a real and long lasting memorial to the people of Montana that use it. He and his fellow members, can be very proud of the (Presidential Point of Light Award) that they recieved. It is a great achievement. He will be missed.
