Ardith J. Wendig

Ardith J. Wendig of Downingtown Ardith J. Wendig, 76 of Downingtown, formerly of Cape May, N.J., Glenmoore and West Chester, died suddenly Thursday, September 5, 2013. She was the wife of the late Frederick C. Wendig Jr. having shared 46 years in marriage before his passing in 2004. Born in N.J., she was the daughter of the late George and Olive Rupp. After graduating from B. Reed Henderson High School she went to work for Bell Telephone of PA, National Liberty and was a licensed Real Estate Agent. She enjoyed the neighborhood card club, her grandkids sporting events, shopping, cooking, boating, the Phillies, and her cat Katie. Her biggest joys were spending time with her family, the "Memory Lane" ladies and the "Henderson graduate" ladies. She is survived by her children, Rick Wendig and his wife Ann of West Chester, Diane DiFronzo and her husband Tony of Malvern, Fred Wendig and his wife Michele of Exton, and nine grandchildren.
