Today (Jan 24, 2022) we just learned to Arlene's passing. A fine and gentle woman, a confidant and mentor to my wife. We are deeply saddened by this belated news of her death. A good wife, mother, and grandmother. We miss her. Our condolences.

Arlene and Pete were treasured friends of my late husband, Chick Montrose, and me. In our young days, Arlene and I spent happy hours at Loehmann´s (now closed forever) helping one another find chic outfits at bargain prices to wow folks at Catholic University events. We remained friends till the end, consoling each other through losses of dear ones and visiting when we could, which-sadly-became rare since we lived far apart.
