Arlie Clift

Arlie Clift Arlie Clift of Visalia went home to be with the Lord on 3/10/14. He was 75 years old. He was born in Tulare, raised in Cutler/Orosi area. He graduated from Orosi High in 1957 where he met his wife Katherine Wilson - sophomore who had just moved from Missouri. Arlie and Kathy married in 1958 and lived in Los Angeles for 20 years where they raised their family before moving back to Visalia. Arlie is survived by his wife of 55 years Kathy, son Charles Clift, daughter Arlien Kennedy, Sister Katherine Lapiro, 4 grandchildren, Tiara and Jewel Clift, and Devan and Dalan Neuenschwander. Arlie and Kathy are Grandma and Grandpa to countless friends. Arlie founded the California Archery Hall of Fame, in 1976 and the board of directors inducted Arlie and Kathy in 1996. They did Archery shows across the U.S. through the National School Assemblies. Arlie was known for his crazy sense of humor and his abundant generosity. He always had a silly joke to make you laugh. If he saw someone with any kind of need he was there to help. Opening his house to strangers or giving freely to the homeless. He will be missed.
