ARMANDO JASSO, 67, angel of love went to peaceful rest on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and many who loved him. An avid ?49ers?fan, a military veteran, ?Hippie? or ?Ironman? as he was fondly known. He was born October 27, 1946, to Adan Jordan Jasso and Marina Jasso. Blessed with a big compassionate heart and a strong faith that helped sustain him, Armando remained a compassionate man, a faithful husband, a loving father, a protective brother, a caring grandfather, and a great friend until his last breath. ?Ironman? as you join Mom, Dad, and your beloved son, Jorge in Gold?s Glory you leave, many who love you and will miss you. We thank God for the beautiful gift of you and rejoice in having shared your life, for we know this is not goodbye ? merely a short separation until we receive God?s blessing and we see each other again. We will love you forever, you remain in our memories and our hearts always.
Survivors include his loving wife, Esther Jasso of the family home; five sons, Raul, Carlos Alberto and Abel Jasso all of Mexico, Armando Jr. and Miguel Angel Jasso of Las Cruces; four grandchildren he raised as his own children, Jasmine Marie, Bryanna Nicole, Joseph Adan and Alexis Samantha Jasso; four brothers, Victor Jasso Sr. of Albuquerque, Raul and Victor Jasso Jr. both of Las Cruces, Adan Jasso of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Sylvia Jasso Diaz and Merced Jasso both of Las Cruces. Other survivors include seven grandchildren as well as numerous other family that love him from Mexico, Texas and California. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Mr. Jasso will begin at 6 PM Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Baca?s Chapel of Prayer, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10 AM Friday, February 28, 2014 in the Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 3600 Parroquia Street with Reverends Vincent Petersen and Tom Smith officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue where he will be laid to rest.
Serving as casket bearers will be Gilberto Diaz, victor Jr., Joseph, Raul and Michael Jasso, and Obdulio Perez. Honorary bearers will be Keath and Harley Jasso.

To my loving family may you know that even though I cannot be there in your time of need and greiving, I am still crying for my loving brother. he was and always will be my hero(Iornman) it's tough to see such a cool dude get taken at such a young age, Raul,Armando Jr, Carlos, Able And Michael, know that your Tio Jr. and Tia Eva in Phoenix love you guys very much. just know that Jehovah has him in his memory and when the times come you will see him again. remember the good time and keep on...
