I just found out Arney had passed. I left NC and hadn't seen him in two years.
It seems unreal someone so full of life, who seemed larger than life could be gone.
He was my friend for 27 years. He called me Mama Bear.He and my ex-husband were really good friends and he was at our house quite often. We all loved him, he was family to us. He always had a big, beautiful smile on his face and he would make it his mission to put a smile on your face too.
Mr.and Mrs. Bryant I am so sorry for your loss. He loved his family so much. I know he loved the Lord too and I know we'll all see him again. Can't you just imagine how good the fishing is in Heaven? Arney's gotta be loving that!!!

Arney always had a smile and never met a stranger. You could be irritated at him for something, but not for long, because he would have you laughing and you could ( sometimes) easily forget why you were mad at him in the first place. He was a longtime friend and classmate that will be truly missed. He died way too soon.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Arney's family and loved ones. 40 years I've known Boone and never once did I see him that he didn't have a smile on his face. One of the most genuine people I've ever known. Will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance, and by some who only heard tales of the man we affectionately knew as Boone. R.I.P. brother, I'll see you on the other side.
