Not sure what to say?

Gene, my first cousin, and Hero. I have followed his illustrious military career all my life. In fact, he makes me proud to be an "Aenchbacher". May he rest in peace.

Such a sweet man, you Dad. Our parents were able to maintain their strong friendship for 59 years. That's pretty impressive! We have great role models to live up to!

Love and sympathy to you all, as you adjust to this new reality. He will be missed by many.

May our condolences on the passing of your Father bring you comfort and may our prayers ease the pain of this loss.

Dear Cathy, Jack, and Jim. Well, that sweetest of men finally let go of his hold on his precious life. I, for one, have many fond memories of who he was as a person. So sorry for your loss. Thoughts are with you and your family.

Cathy, I was sorry to read of the passing of your Dad. I have fond memories of him and thought he was a truly Southern Gentleman.
Condolences to you and your family.

Dear Family --In the rank of Colonels & the USAF- Colonel Gene ranks at the top.. A wonderful graceful gentleman-a special friend to all who knew him. The pain and sorrow created by his death is deeply shared at our house. Col.Don Gaylor

Cathy,

I am so sorry to read of your father passing. I remember meeting him, he was quite a gentleman and immensely interesting to talk with. I know you will miss him but you are so blessed to have had him here for so many years. Frank Priest

Col. Aenchbacher, I have often thought of you since I retired from CCC and the great chats we would have during the buffets. You regaled many a person about the fact that we both were on Mactan Island in the Philippines in Aug of 1966...me rotating to Vietnam in the Army and you stationed there permanently with the USAF. We never met until my stint at CCC starting in 1999 but it always was as if we were old buddies. That was the beauty of being your friend and I will always treasure our...
