Abby, Eric and I were heartbroken over the receipt of this very bad news. Our dearly beloved Arthur was the best man at our wedding; and he will always be my over 50 year best friend. What's more, he has been a surrogate brother to me since 1966, over a half century. And, as a bonus, he also stood up as a surrogate uncle to our son, Eric!

Surely, no words could ever be adequate to fully describe him as a human being. Nevertheless, please be patient as I try imperfectly to herald...

On several occasions throughout the years Art afforded me the privilege of assisting his clients in the resolution of state and local tax disputes and, in turn, I called upon Art from time to time for his advice and insights which he was always ready to share.
