I am Greg Patterson. My late mother, Martha Teeter Bullard of Jasper, Mo. was Marvin Teeter's younger sister.
I came to know Art through Nancy and we talked regularly about the Kansas City Royals and the Detroit Tigers and about Nancy.

Art was such a good guy and such a good caregiver to Nancy.
Those phone calls at odd times will be missed. I had hoped to come to St. Louis this Summer and visit them while...

Mr. Busekist was an awesome teacher. He touched the lives of so many students. I met him at Parkway North when our children Marty Kofsky and Shelley Kofsky participated in Students in Politics Club. I remember telling Paul to "order what you want.your Dad is paying for it!" Paul laughed and Art said "well he would pay for Paul's...

He was a wonderful supporter of International Partners in Mission. I also appreciated his care and concern for our international students at Eden Seminary. He will be missed by many.

I'm sad to hear this. He was my 9th grade Honors Social Studies teacher. I wish I had tried harder to track him down to tell him a couple of things.
1. Indochina. He was teaching us about French Indochina and the 1950's. I clearly remember "correcting" him, telling him he must mean Indonesia. Thirty years later, my face is still hot with shame. I learned to check my facts first before opening my big mouth. He was very patient with me.
2. The kind of teacher I chose to be. We were...
