As a member of the Burrillville Lions Club I was friendly with Arthur from 1988, when I joined, until about 2000 when I became less active in the club. I always thought of Arthur as an interesting and unique character, but I'm sorry that I didn't know of his RI sports records, or that he was a teacher and principal in Burrillville before we met.
