We're so sorry to hear of Art's passing. He was a kind and generous person, who would do anything for others. I can't remember how many times he plowed our driveway while my husband was out of town. And once, when our dog was hurt and he wouldn't come out of his doghouse, Art crawled in and gently pulled him out so I could take him to the vet's. Condolences for all of Art's family. Great memories of Art at the fire dept. He was solid and reliable, always pulling more than required. Art took on many projects others would not. He was just a great hand in the station and on the emergency grounds and you could always count on Art.

Art was not only my brother but a constant presence in my life. While he lived in Alaska, we saw each other at least once a week, and after he moved to Arkansas, we stayed connected by phone.
