We're so sorry to hear of Art's passing. He was a kind and generous person, who would do anything for others. I can't remember how many times he plowed our driveway while my husband was out of town. And once, when our dog was hurt and he wouldn't come out of his doghouse, Art crawled in and gently pulled him out so I could take him to the vet's. I'll always remember that act of kindness, his willingness to help whenever needed, and his big smile. He was a good man, and we send our condolences to Susie, Kristina, Jimmy and the rest of his family.

Condolences for all of Art's family. Great memories of Art at the fire dept. He was solid and reliable, always pulling more than required. Art took on many projects others would not. He was just a great hand in the station and on the emergency grounds and you could always count on Art.

Art was not only my brother but a constant presence in my life. While he lived in Alaska, we saw each other at least once a week, and after he moved to Arkansas, we stayed connected by phone. Art worked for a few years in our family business and was proud to be part of our family´s legacy.
He was truly a renaissance man! There wasn´t anything he couldn´t do. If he didn´t know how, he had an uncanny ability to figure it out, like restoring my 1978 Porsche. His mind, his hands, and his heart were always at work, especially for those he loved.
Art´s passing has left an emptiness in my heart, but I will carry our memories and our bond with me always.

I will miss you Uncle Art. Thank you for the many good times and always making me fell welcome at the family get-togethers at your home over the years starting when I was a little guy to an adult. Those will never be forgotten by me. Your calmness, your smile, your laugh, and, of course, your wisdom of everything. I don't have a picture of you I can find but I have a picture of Heather and I with Grandpa and Grandma at Uncle Eric's wedding at one of those very warm get-togethers at your home a long time ago. Good bye and take care Uncle Art.
