Arthur Kopit was a mentor and friend. I consider myself fortunate to have spent some time with him, meeting him at The Lark Playwrights Workshop 1. I miss him. He encouraged us all to be fearless and I still carry that with me. Arthur was very funny. Smart. He was also a Yankee fan, but I never held that against him.
