Not sure what to say?

Art was the friend that everyone should have, funny, gentle, soft spoken and a great rider specially on the way to Lick Observatory at Mt Hamilton, He took me up there for the first time...I will miss him dearly.

Art was always with us on the Wed and Thurs rides from the Outfitter. What a pleasure to talk to him whether on Altamont, Moody, Foothill Park, or back down at Peets. When Art spoke he spoke with all the joy of biking and listened to everyone. An honor to have been his friend.

Tony Armor, Sunnyvale, CA.

I met and regularly rode with Art as a member of a Los Altos Saturday morning cycling group, 1992-94. I was the neophyte... Art was one of the "pros". I too will remember Art as a strong rider, never missing the weeekly ride, and a truly nice person. It was my pleasure knowing you, Art.

My memories of Art are of a strong rider and a gentle and kind man. Soft spoken but worthy of listening to carefully. He sure didn't show his age while on the bike nor did he avoid even the toughest climb. But, above all he was a true gentleman and a good friend. I'll surely miss you, Art.

Dear AC and UAM, God Bless you both. We Love You.
