Art was so admired, respected, and loved. The Christ Lutheran Choir tours are some of my favorite memories from the '80s. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the Rode family.

Pastor Art, Alamo Heights Lutheran Church led my family to Christ. Our condolences to his great family.

The passing of someone who was so loved and admired by family and friends is always hard to bare. As Christans we know Pastor Rode is at peace now. My condolence to the family. Rick Fackler

It is sad to hear of Art's passing. I remember him as a fine pastor but also a fun person to be around. His memory will always be the best. My condolences to you Dorothy and Steve and the family. Love, Dottie Alves Rodgers
