Art was so admired, respected, and loved. The Christ Lutheran Choir tours are some of my favorite memories from the '80s. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the Rode family.

It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of Pastor Rode. My memories of him are from being the father of one of my friends in high school, Steve Rode. Pastor Rode was one of those fathers that we all wanted. He was always kind and caring. I mourn his death, but am comforted that he has found his place in Heaven and is free of his earthly pain. God Bless his family who I know will be strong at this time of grief and will soon enjoy memories of the joyful times together as they celebrate a life well lived.
