Beverly Rode Obituary
Born on January 20, 1945 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carlyle James Strunk, Sr. and the late Mae (Kresge) Decker.
She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County who enjoyed spending time with her family, having fun and listening to polka music. She was also an Eagles fan.
Surviving are two daughters, Kelli Jean Rode and Melissa Counterman both of Middle Smithfield Township; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Strunk of Reeders; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, George Thomas "Tommy" Strunk; three brothers, Carlyle "Butch" Strunk, Jr., Bruce Strunk and William "Bill" Strunk; and her best friend, Patricia Baird.
As per her wishes, there will be no services.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg.
