The world of dentistry knew Kit as a brilliant dental practitioner and teacher. I, on the other hand remember him from our close friendship in Griffin, GA soaring over the hills of middle Georgia in his hot air balloon. So many crazy, laughable and exciting times. The last time I saw Kit was at the final airing of the Mash TV series party in his home. Lots of laughs, loads of fond memories from an amazing, brilliant, very funny man. I'm a dentist from Ireland who met Kit in Destin Florida over 10 years ago but I learnt a great deal from him, he'll be missed.

Kit and I have been friends and colleagues since 1976 when he became the first teacher of the Automated Endo course. Lots of dentists will miss his words of wisdom.
